At Children’s Cottage, we believe that early childhood is a magical time—and we’re honored to be part of your family’s journey. As a well-established center serving infants through preschoolers, we offer a nurturing environment where children thrive and families feel truly connected. Many of our families stay with us for up to five years, building lasting relationships with our caring staff and one another.

We embrace a balanced approach to learning, blending traditional early childhood education with play-based exploration. Our curriculum is designed to spark curiosity, foster independence, and celebrate each child’s unique developmental path.
👶 Child / Teacher Ratios
Infants (3–24months): 3–4 children per caregiver
Preschool/TK (2–4 yrs): 8 children per teacher
🏫 Preschool Adventures (2–5 yrs)
Once children turn 2-years old, they transition to our preschool building, where each day is filled with discovery and joy.
Daily Rhythm: Free play, circle time, small group learning, and outdoor exploration
Potty Training: Integrated into daily routines with gentle guidance
Meals: Morning and afternoon snacks provided; parents pack lunch
Rest Time: Soft music and cozy mats; quiet activities for non-nappers
Circle Time: Numbers, colors, shapes, vocabulary, socialization
Special Projects: Cooking, gardening, and hands-on activities
Water Play: Splashing fun with water tables and our cheerful octopus sprinkler—even on rainy days under our covered deck
🛡️ Safety, Health & Inclusion
We welcome children with food allergies, asthma, and other medical needs.
Allergy Awareness: Staff trained in EpiPen use; alternative snacks provided
Clean & Careful: Handwashing before and after meals; seating arrangements to prevent exposure
Medical Support: CPR & First Aid certified staff; trained in administering inhalers, nebulizers, and other medications with proper documentation

Our infant and preschool outdoor areas have play structures designed for joyful movement and imaginative play. All six of our classrooms have inviting layouts and beautiful furniture to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for every child.
Fireflies Room
Our littlest babies. We maintain a ratio of 1 teacher for every 3-4 babies at all times.
Honeybees
We maintain a ratio of 1 teacher for every 3-4 little ones at all times.
Caterpillars
We maintain a ratio of 1 teacher for every 3-4 toddlers at all times.
Ladybugs Room
2-year olds room. Average a ratio of 1 teacher: 8 children.
Bumblebees
3-year olds room. Average a ratio of 1 teacher: 8 children.
Butterflies Room
4-year olds room. Average a ratio of 1 teacher: 8 children.
